"In the past I have only gone to yoga a couple of times but have never enjoyed it due to large class sizes and the lack of direction for beginners. I have now been going to Total Recovery with Daena for a year and it’s the best thing I ever did. I have a curvature of the spine and have always suffered with lower back pain, since going to yoga regularly I feel my posture and in turn my health has improved significantly. I hardly ever suffer from back pain now and if I do I can work on it safely and effectively in my yoga class and also at home. I came to yoga because I had a bulging disk.I needed it something very gentle and effective.It helps me to be more aware of my body and listen to my limitations.I breath differently and think more often of my posture.The exercises are variables and i just love it. Since I started practicing yoga the strength in my feet have improved so much that I am no longer dependent on wearing orthotics for hiking or long walks. It has improved my breathing which helps me sleep better, handle stress and energize. I also have found it clears my head and sinuses. Ellen

I keep coming back to Daena’s Yoga classes because they give me the flexibility I need to succeed at the Masters level in Cross-County skiing, running and hiking. Daena has adapted Yoga practice to get into those areas of non-flexibility that we tend not to work on as we get older. She reflects on personal needs at each class and above all Daena makes the classes’ fun while you work hard. John
My husband had been suffering from chronic back pain for more than 20 years. He tried many different treatments and exercises, but nothing had helped him completely. When he had almost given up himself, he met Daena. She offered him a private “Therapeutic Yoga Class,” and that changed his life! He now has full confidence in managing his back. This happy husband invited me to join him at first, and now, all of my family, including three active kids, meet with Daena every Sunday morning. Our daughters are skaters and dancers. We believe her yoga classes are helping us to stay away from injuries and keep up our total health condition. My only concern is that Daena may become too popular to book for private sessions!
