Daena Blixhavn

Receiving a massage can be one of the best things to do for yourself and your body.  There are countless techniques, styles, and variations of massage therapy which enables you to receive the most beneficial treatments(s) according to your desires/goals.  As a Licensed and Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) since 1999, I have treated people with chronic injuries, autoimmune disorders, cancer survivors, people with HIV/AIDS, terminally ill patients, children, seniors, athletes, pregnant women, and everyone in between!  It is my intention to treat the individual on the "table" with appropriate pressure and techniques in order to achieve the desired results.  This may include deep tissue and/or relaxation methods, specific positioning while treating an area (ie stretching a muscle while utilizing massage techniques), heat/cold applications, or other modes of treatment.

As well as my diploma in Massage Therapy, I have undergone hundreds of hours of continuing education credits to further enhance my skills in order to treat you and your body to the best of my ability.  I love massage (giving and receiving!), whether it is aggressive deep tissue, therapeutic, or simply maintenance, I will strive to give you the best treatment possible.

Cheers.  Daena Blixhavn, RM
